Deanna is an accomplished artist who has a gift and passion for abstract and landscape acrylic painting. It is hard to believe that she had only started painting in 2017. Her gift for colors and design were realized after painting a piece for a friend. Over her short time as an artist, Deanna has appeared in many local art shows and has garnered recognition in the art community. She is not afraid to take risks with certain colors to complete a new and beautiful piece.
Artist Statement
I never thought that art would be such a huge part of my life. In 2017, when I did my first painting, it changed my life. I thought I was just painting a gift for my friend, instead I was finding my passion for art.
I have found so much joy from painting. All the brilliant colors in nature come out in my paintings.
I’ve recently moved near the ocean and all the beauty around me has become the inspiration for my paintings. I enjoy working with acrylic paint, mixing colors and creating all types of texture. Each painting helps me grow as an artist. Thank you for viewing my art. My hope is that it brightens your day.
